hi, I’m Ki.

My Work

I received my training in the UK at the Sea School of Embodiment in 2020, becoming a Certified Embodiment Coach as well as a Certified Sexological Bodyworker. I am a member of the worldwide Association for Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB). Today I specialize in working with growth-oriented people of all genders, erotic explorers, creatives, helping professionals, adults with anxiety, and folks suffering from the effects of trauma.

Outside of this, I am a Somatic Anti-Oppression Practitioner and Educator. I teach courses on Somatics for Social Justice with Both/And Collective.

Before this, I was a community organizer and facilitator in leadership development. My focus was coaching social change makers and creatives looking to lead value-driven lives. Even in that work, I encountered the importance of embodiment and somatic practice for creating real change.

I have my bachelors degree in Sociology from Loyola University in Chicago.

My Identities

I identify as biracial: Indigenous and white. I am a child of immigrants. I am queer, non-binary, and a practitioner of relationship anarchy and ethical non-monogamy. I am neurodivergent and identify as a survivor. I speak Spanish, Greek, and English. I am a spiritual person. I am a creative.

I do not expect anyone I work with to identify in the ways that I do.

My Backstory

I first came to somatic sexology in 2017. My partner and I had struggled for years with intimacy and had sought help from all the usual experts that folks would recommend – therapists, long-term partnered friends, and even sex-specializing therapists. None of those actually helped us improve our sex lives (together or individually). Then I learned about somatic sex coaching and sexological bodywork. Everything pivoted from that point.

I realized I needed to learn how to ask myself the question, what do I want?
I needed to learn how to go about finding the answers inside of myself.
I went on to learn how consent is experienced in my body, and how detrimental it is to ignore my body’s no.
With the help of a somatic sex coach, I also learned how important play is for us as adults, too.
My coach helped me have new experiences I would have never had on my own. The list goes on.

Today, my work reflects all of this experience.

In the world of emotions, bodies, sex, and our ideas about them, there is so much to learn and so much to un-learn.
This work is a passion of mine.

This year’s Embodied Please Activism Reading & Practice Group is filled!
